Young People’s Shakespeare - Hamlet
William Shakespeare
Edited by Bijan Sheibani and Tarell Alvin McCraney
This autumn the Royal Shakespeare Company brings a very special version of Hamlet to Hall for Cornwall and Brannel School as part of a national tour.
Hamlet is a young man on the edge. His father’s death was suspicious and his mother has hastily married his uncle, the man he suspects of murdering his father. Trapped in the claustrophobic court of Elsinore he must discover the truth and decide if he has a right to avenge his father.
Made specifically for young people and families and just 1hr 10mins long, this production is the perfect introduction to Shakespeare.
There will be a post-show Q&A after the evening performances as well as school workshops after the matinee performances for school groups who have seen the show.
£10, Children £6
A free pre or post-show talk will take place with one or more performances of this show. Check details when booking.
