Come and discover the marvellous world of Miller, be bedazzled by Bennett and seduced by Shakespeare. Now is your chance to meet like minded people, read a play and have a brew...or two.

The Play’s The Thing is for over 50s giving you the chance to visit Hall for Cornwall ahead of many of our drama performances to read through the script before you come to see the play. Feel free to read, participate, discuss or simply sit back and enjoy.

This is not an “academic” meeting, but a social play reading group (complete with refreshments) to introduce the play and characters ahead of the show. It’s suitable for everyone who loves drama and should be a good way to get to grips with plays you’ve not watched before.

The sessions are fun, lively and welcoming to everyone! We look forward to seeing you there. Price £5.00 to include tea and coffee. A £1 theatre fund is added to each ticket sold.
