HFC Youth Theatre

HFC Youth Theatre comprises three groups covering ages 7 - 21 years. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and develop performance skills with support and guidance from trained and experienced practitioners. At the helm is Artistic Director Simon Harvey, one of Cornwall's most respected performers and directors - known for his work with Kneehigh Theatre and o-region.

In 2016, HFC Youth theatre were selected to perform at the National Theatre as part of the Connections programme. The company were chosen out of 500 other youth companies and get the chance to perform Patrick Marber’s play The Musicians on the prestigious Dorfman Stage.

In 2017 our Senior Youth Theatre toured two productions to venues across Cornwall and our Junior and Intermediate groups performed at Trebah Gardens.

In 2018 our Intermediate Youth Theatre performed a new play we commissioned from Pipeline Theatre playwright, Jon Welch and our Senior Youth Theatre performed Nick Darke’s Hell’s Mouth on stage at HFC as part of the Nick Darke 70 celebrations.
