Along with thousands of others around the country, two Youth Dance members Ethel & Lily Mae and their friends were disappointed when Lockdown happened and their long-awaited trip to watch Little Mix in concert was cancelled. Not wanting to see their children upset, four brave Dads from Cornwall decided to do what all devoted Dads would do (?) and recreate a Little Mix video for their children's entertainment. Since sharing the video for friends and family last week they have now gone viral and reached over 100k views on Facebook from around the world! They have appeared in the national press and on morning TV. If you haven't seen it yet, it's a must watch!
Here's a question for you... Which one of these dazzling beauties is also HFC's Christmas Show Director?? (When he's not doing his other job in a girl band that is!)
Another HFC Christmas Show creative, our Musical Director Richard Healey and friend JJ Eiø have collaborated as RHJ Entertainment to make this wonderful new song - Forever (Love is Love). The song and video features a multitude of performers from educational, professional and amateur theatre worlds - with ages ranging from of 7 to 70. RHJ Entertainment are raising funds for NHS Charities Together and the Theatre Support Fund with the song. Have a listen, we know you will enjoy it as much as we did.
Don't forget to catch up with the latest musings from our HFC Youth members. As lockdown begins to ease, but still no sign of a return to regular classes, what have they all been doing to keep themselves occupied and how are they finding Life in Lockdown?
