Hall For Cornwall's Community Club
The Hall For Cornwall Community Club works with groups across Cornwall to assist in first time visits to experience the unique experience of theatre. So far, over 4,000 people have been given the opportunity to see a range of shows - from comedy to murder mystery to musicals and dance.
Going to the theatre has so much to offer – from pure joyous entertainment, to touching your innermost feelings, to making you think about the world you live in. It can thrill you, be a feast for the eyes and ears and make you laugh until your sides hurt. Seeing a theatre show can truly enrich your life! With this in mind, we want to assist in giving people the opportunity to access Hall For Cornwall for the first time.
We are able to undertake this work thanks to the generous support of The Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
How to get involved?
If you know of a deserving community club or group who would benefit from a first time visit then please get in touch with our Community Co-ordinator on 01872 262843 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Feedback from those who have attended as part of our Community club:
I’m so glad ‘Coastline’ was able to do this for the few that came. It gave us a chance to have fun, have a laugh and to come and see a show we usually wouldn’t be able to. I’m glad I had this opportunity. Five stars from me!’ - Coastline client on One Man Two Guvnors
“It was a great day out! It meant a lot to us as a family. My son actually sat through the whole show and didn't take his eyes off the stage. It's amazing what a difference less sound and more light makes! Thank u for giving my son this opportunity” – Member of Cornwall Downs Syndrome Support Group on The Gruffalo relaxed performance
