Life Drawing Lab presents

Life Drawing from Performance Series 

A set of four innovative, experimental life drawing classes featuring different performers each week. Hosted by Life Drawing Lab. 

 

Come along and try your hand at our new four part life drawing series. Spread across four weeks of themed costumed sessions, this experimental series is hosted by the team behind Falmouth’s Life Drawing Lab, Peach Doble. 

 

 Our costumed and nude sessions will feature different performers and costumes each week. All materials are provided and no experience necessary. Expect dance, performance, show costumes and a midsummer floral headdress special!  

 

Our second life drawing session is a Midsummer’s Day special on 21st June. Emily Faulkner will  create floral scenes wearing bespoke floral headdresses created by Wild Rose Cornwall.  

 

Our third session is a festive corker featuring Christmas show stars fresh from Hall for Cornwall’s stage! Draw from a collection of past performance costumes modelled by some of our special performers  

 

Our last session is a dance life drawing session with emerging dancer Sapphire Sumpter. Draw from a series of short dances and intuitive dance poses. 

 

Expect musical accompaniments, simple expressive materials and a whole lot of paper and materials to work your way through!! 

 

Tickets can be bought at a discounted rate for the whole series of four workshops and a student rate is also available. Workshops are held on the following Tuesday evenings in June and July. 21st June and 5th and 12th July.  

 

Full price £48 for the series or £15 per workshop 

 

Student rate (valid with an NUS number) is £30 for the series or £9 per workshop
