Makers Workshop Series 2022 at Hall for Cornwall
We are so excited to launch Makers Workshops series for 2022; an exciting series of 8 workshops across 6 months that celebrate the heritage of our building
The workshops have been curated by our History and Heritage team to run alongside our stage programme of shows. Workshops will be run by expert makers and artists from across Cornwall and invite participants to work with some of the materials that have played a part in our building’s history as well as creating something beautiful to take away. This series takes inspiration from many elements of the building and its long history; from tray making workshops that echo the terrazzo flooring, to wreath making workshops mirroring our building’s historic use as a greenmarket.
Our wonderful makers leading our workshops include Badger & Birch, Wild Rose Cornwall, Start to Stitch, SoapStack and Lucy Innes Williams.
Our workshops are made possible thanks to a generous award from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
