Know a young performer ready to chase their dreams?

Dick Whittington knows a thing or two about taking a chance on adventure and seeking out fame and fortune, and we're searching for young people across Cornwall with that same spirit to join the Youth Ensemble for Dick Whittington & His Mousehole Cat. If you know a young person who’s the cat's whiskers at singing, dancing and acting, this is their chance to be part of a festive adventure packed with music, mayhem, friendship and purr-fect panto magic.

We're looking for twelve young people from the upcoming school year groups of Year 5 to Year 10 (or equivalent ages) to take to the stage alongside our professional cast this Christmas.

Auditions will take place on Sun 06 Sep 2026 at Hall for Cornwall, where applicants will take part in singing, dancing and acting workshops with our creative team. Successful applicants will need to be available for rehearsals from Mon 26 Oct 2026, with performances running from Fri 04 Dec 2026 to Sun 03 Jan 2027.
