Directing for Devised Work with Aga Blonska

This practical directing workshop with Aga Blonska explores directing through devising processes and the generation of performance material.

“I will share with you my methodology for both preparation and rehearsals. Together, we will discuss the motivations behind making work, examine the meaning of gesture and movement, and explore concepts of participatory theatre while investigating performance narratives and dramaturgy.”

Agnieszka Blonska is a theatre director and practitioner with over 25 years of experience working internationally as an independent artist and in collaboration with renowned organisations such as Hall For Cornwall, Wildworks Theatre, Powszechny Theatre (Warsaw), National Theatre Studio, Soho Theatre and Bristol Old Vic Studio.

Agnieszka works as a Senior Lecturer in Acting and Theatre & Performance at Falmouth University and in 2023 was awarded the Gorsedh Kernow Certificate of Recognition for her creative work in Cornwall.
