A musical by Cole Porter, Anything Goes follows the escapades of an ocean liner bound from New York to London and in the process tells of the love story of a stowaway and an heiress. The musical has been revived several times since its first appearance on Broadway in 1934. In 1998, the T.A.O.D.S revived the musical and produced their own performance of Anything Goes. Following their acclaimed 2006 production of Oklahoma!, Truro Amateur Operatic & Dramatic Society staged Rodgers and Hammerstein’s musical The King & I at Hall for Cornwall between the 26th and the 30th of September. The production was professionally directed by Ray Jeffrey.
