Artists are the heartbeat of our community.
We’re always excited to support them in their work, ensuring a rich seam of Cornish talent continues to feed into the global performance industry.
Artist Development Programme
Our artist development programme offers advice, training and opportunities for artists both starting out and established, through workshops, masterclasses and surgeries.
Our focus on continued professional development helps artists hone their skills in everything from storycraft to improvisation, directing to stage management, dance to voice technique. We run scratch events in partnership with other organisations across Cornwall and have an open door for one-to-one consultations to help with career development and project planning.
For early career practitioners at any time in life, we also offer close support in first time budgeting, fundraising, application writing and contract negotiation.
New Artists Network
Our artists network invites career artists and practitioners to collaborate and discuss ideas for new work. Our aim is to support a personal understanding of the performing arts in Corrnwall, developing industry knowledge.
Our network is suitable for anyone who has graduated from Higher Education or entered the Creative Workforce between 2019 and 2021 and is working, or wanting to work in the making of live performance.
All networking sessions are currently being held online.
