Ticket Price
The ticket price differs depending on the show and performance, the full list of shows offering school rates is listed on our Schools page.
For school performances, there will be a set school rate. The rate is offered at a minimum of 15 students, with 1 adult at the school rate per 10 children. For any additional tickets, teachers will pay an additional adult ticket rate.
On payment, you will receive an order summary by email.
If your order has 15 or more tickets, we will issue you a seating plan, unless otherwise stated. This will be issued no later than 1 week before the performance, this acts as a ticket for entry to the auditorium.
If your order has less than 15 tickets, we are likely to issue you e-tickets. These will arrive via email in PDF format.
Some productions create educational packs. If this is the case, we will send them in advance for your students to have them ahead of the show.
Additional Tickets
If you are looking to add tickets to a booking, we will do our best to accommodate for this and look into availability. Depending on your seating allocation, we may be able to add tickets to your order. This will incur an additional deadline following our payment deadline policy and we cannot guarantee that additional tickets will be seated next to the initial order.
If additional tickets are booked within the 8-week deadline, as our policy dictates, we will treat the additional tickets on a case-by-case basis.
Payment
All payments must be made 8 weeks prior to the performance. If your booking is made within this 8-week window, we’ll issue you a deadline which allows for this. This will ask for payment at your earliest convenience.
Please note that if we do not hear from you before the deadline, we may have to release your tickets for sale, depending on demand from other schools. We will be in touch before the deadline to check in on payment and answer any questions you may have.
If your reservation is made within the 8-week period, your booking will be treated on a case-by-case basis, and payment will be required as soon as possible. We are unable to reserve seating within 2 weeks of the show. Please contact our Group Bookings team if you have any queries or requests regarding this.

Seat Allocations
Seating is allocated on receipt of payment, filling from the front to the back. Expect a seating plan 1 week before the performance. Please allocate seats accordingly to ensure appropriate adult supervision across the group
For our pantomime, seating is booked on an unreserved basis. Please note, seating location in the auditorium is allocated closer to the performance date. If you have any specific access requirements, such as wheelchair users, within your group, please let us know as early as possible so that we can try to accommodate this within your seating location. If a staff member would like to look around our theatre before your visit, email [email protected] to arrange a viewing and plan your route.
If your group requires a high ratio of support staff or carers to make the trip possible, we may be able to provide further support. Please contact us at [email protected] for more information.
Please be aware that if you are booking on behalf of a wheelchair user, we cannot guarantee that your group allocation will all be seated together. On booking, inform us of any access requirements and we will take this into consideration when allocating your seats. Additionally, we have an access information page which you may find useful.

Seeing the Show
On Arrival
The auditorium will open approximately 30 minutes before the performance start time for a member of staff to take you to your seats
If you are running late, please contact Stage Door on 01872 262466 and we can make our Front of House Team aware. Please be aware that for every performance we have a differing latecomers policy
For a smooth experience for all, we encourage groups to use the facilities before the performance begins – we have toilets on every level of the auditorium. Staff and volunteers will be able to show you which toilets are the most suitable for your group.
Students are the responsibility of the school staff. Please ensure appropriate supervision is provided throughout your visit, including during the arrival, the performance, the interval and the outgoing. Please note that we operate a strict safeguarding procedure. All staff members are briefed in advance of every visit and will never be left alone with a young person. In the event of a missing child, please inform a member of staff immediately
We don’t currently have a cloakroom, and we cannot take any liability for damage or loss of items when in the building.
We offer both booster cushions and ear defenders first come first served. Please contact us to pre-book ear defenders. Booster cushions are available to collect once your group has entered the auditorium.
During the Show
Please make our House Rules clear to your students in advance, we are here to provide a magical, exciting and informative experience, and in order to achieve this by sharing the following Student Code of Conduct:
– During the show, keep any noise and movement to a minimum and remain in your seat unless stage performers invite participation
– Keep phones silenced and don’t use any devices during the show unless invited to by those on stage
– Don’t take any photographs during the performance unless the show invites you to do so
– Withhold from eating during the show and wait until the interval or the end of the show
Running Times
The majority of our show running times are advertised on our website on the show page.
Please be mindful, that some performances do not include an interval. This will be advertised both pre-show, and on signs as you enter the auditorium.
Food and Drink
If you need a space for your school or group to eat packed lunches pre-show, let us know and we can review the request on a case-by-case basis. We can’t guarantee that this will be something we can accommodate on your visit as it depends on the availability of our spaces.
Please note that we only accept card payments.
Snack shacks are available through the auditorium offering soft drinks and confectionary.
Be sure to make your trip complete with a range of Callestick Cornish Ice Creams! Pre-order ice creams for a discounted rate: £2 in advance or £3.10 when you buy during your visit.
