A trip to the theatre is the perfect way to bring subjects to life and pique students’ interests. And we are here to help you make that happen.
Here’s how…
Your group can book reduced rate tickets
Some shows have a dedicated student group booking rate and for others you can take advantage of great discounts depending on group size. Some shows may place a cap on number of school rate tickets available so its always best to contact us early if you would like to book a school group.
School group rate tickets are currently available for (selected dates only):
- The History Boys – Wed 04 Sep 7:30pm, Thu 04 Sep 2:30pm and 7:30pm, £17.50 per ticket
- Dear Evan Hansen – Tue 08 Oct 7:30pm, Wed 09 Oct 7:30pm, Thu 10 Oct 2:30pm, Thu 10 Oct 7:30pm, Fri 11 Oct 7:30pm, £20 per ticket.
- The Very Hungry Caterpillar – Mon 21 – Tue 22 Oct £11 per ticket.
- Jack and the Beanstalk – Mon 09 Dec 11am, Tue 10 Dec 11am, Thu 12 Dec 11am, Fri 13 Dec 11am, Mon 16 Dec 11am, Tue 17 Dec 11am, Thu 19 Dec 11am, £15 per ticket
- Hairspray – Thu 16 Jan 2025 2:30pm, £25 per ticket.
- Blood Brothers – Tue 04 Feb 2025 7:30pm, Wed 05 Feb 2025 2pm & 7:30pm, Thu 06 Feb 2025 2pm, £20 per ticket.
- The Gruffalo – Fri 14 Feb 2025, 1:30pm & 4:30pm, Sat 15 Feb 2pm & 4:30pm, £11 per ticket plus one free teacher ticket per 10 students.
- An Inspector Calls – Wed 12 Mar 2025 2:30pm, Thu 13 Mar 2025 2:30pm and 7:30pm, £17.50 per ticket if paid for before 31st Oct 2024.
- & Juliet – Tue 10 Jun 2025 7:30pm, Wed 11 Jun 2025 7:30pm, Thu 12 Jun 2025 2:30pm and 7:30pm, £20 per ticket.
Who can book school group rate tickets?
School group tickets can be booked by registered childcare, education and youth group (Scout and Girl Guide, for example) providers only and for a minimum purchase of 15 tickets. School rate would apply to all children in the group, with accompanying adults entitled to school rate tickets at a ratio of 1:10 children.
You can book without paying straight away
You can reserve seats for you and your students without needing to pay anything until 8 weeks before the show. This gives you peace of mind that your seats are held while you organise your visit.
Add a Get Creative Workshop to compliment your visit
We can work with you to develop an educational workshop. Designed to meet your learning objectives and delivered by professionals, sessions can be run as part of your visit or we can come to you pre- or post- show. Do you need transport for your group?
First Bus Cornwall are Hall for Cornwall’s official transport partner, talk to us if you have transport needs and we can help you package a show and transport offer for your group.
Coach Parking. Coaches can park at Fairmantle Street Coach Park. Visit the Cornwall Council website for further details.
