Explore the fascinating exhibits of the museum, befriend an elf, listen to their stories, and help them find Father Christmas.

Finding Father Christmas returns to Truro for its third year – this time amongst the fascinating curiosities of the Royal Cornwall Museum in this family storytelling and grotto experience.

Jingle the Elf will lead you and other families through the museum. You’ll hear a wintery tale or two before meeting Father Christmas for the second half of the magical 30-minute encounter. Children will also receive a small gift.

Finding Father Christmas at the Museum is a unique walking theatre and grotto experience brought to you by Truro BID in association with Coppice Theatre and with kind permission from the Royal Cornwall Museum.

You will be able to explore the museum if you wish after meeting Father Christmas. Entry to the Royal Cornwall Museum is included in the adult ticket price for Finding Father Christmas at the Museum. This entry is limited to the date stated on your ticket.
There is a lift available to access the second floor of the museum if families need step-free access. Prams and buggies must be left at the entrance.
This is a walking theatre piece with two short stories and the opportunity to meet Father Christmas at the end.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your booked slot. Due to the nature of the event latecomers cannot be admitted.

Booking Information

Child (under 12) tickets £10. Accompanying Adult tickets £4.
We request that wherever possible there are a maximum of 2 adult tickets per child. This is because there is a limited capacity and this will allow as many children as possible to attend and meet Father Christmas.
This show and gift are designed for ages 3 and up. Babies (under 18 months) can attend with the family at the same £10 rate as older children if you would like a gift for them.
Babies can attend free of charge if not requiring a gift. Select a Baby ticket and use the promo code BABY to discount this to £0 for babies not requiring a gift.
