Mevagissey Male Choir invites you to celebrate their 50th birthday in the wonderful Cornwall Playhouse.
For the last 50 years they’ve been one of the most acclaimed and popular choirs in Cornwall, renowned for extensive and eclectic repertoire, ranging from Puccini to Elvis, from Berlioz to ELO, and from Verdi to Queen!
Joined on stage by many guests and friends, including the brilliant, award-winning, Cornwall Youth Choir. These young people represent the cutting edge of musical development in Cornwall, and Mevagissey Male Choir are proud to be celebrating their own past, and the Youth Choir’s future.
Mevagissey Quay Notes, with their delightful blend of good humour and great harmonies, and the joyful, exuberant playfulness of the amazing Press Gang, mixing Cornish tradition with raucous entertainment will also take to the stage.
