Come and join Katie for a full day workshop to explore performing & devising in a physical theatre style. Drawing upon her experience working with companies such as Gecko, Punchdrunk International, and VOXED, Katie will lead participants through games, exercises and creative tasks designed to offer a variety of approaches and spark ideas for new ways of performing and making. The workshop will mostly focus on modes of storytelling, and how we can skillfully blend and shapeshift between different forms: physical & vocal; literal & abstract; everyday & epic.
The workshop is aimed at professional dancers, actors and theatre makers who are interested in developing and expanding their performance and/or devising skills. It’s a day to play, have fun, explore, discover, connect, and learn.
