Ward Thomas: Celebrating 10 Years of Cartwheels

Ten years ago, twin sisters Catherine and Lizzy Ward Thomas made history. Their album Cartwheels became the first by a British country act to hit No.1 on the UK Albums Chart. Now they’re celebrating with something special – performing the entire record live with their full band.

Expect those trademark harmonies, sharp storytelling, and the songs that propelled them from emerging singer-songwriters to trailblazers of British country-pop.  Carry You Home, Guilty Flowers, and the title track that The Guardian called “a slick slice of country pop”.

Joining them are fellow British country luminaries The Wandering Hearts, whose blend of Americana, folk, and country has earned them the UK Americana Award for Best Emerging Artist.

It’s been a decade since Cartwheels opened doors for the UK country scene, now it’s time to see Ward Thomas live at the Cornwall Playhouse.
